The HCP Platinum Series features a unique 24 Pin Modular cable that connects to the power supply via a 20 pin connector and an 8 pin connector. The additional 8 pin connector allows the unit to supply additional 12v current to the motherboard and must be plugged in for the power supply to function correctly.
